Community features likely to arrive in the next GT6 patch

Multiple sources (including GT Arena and Gameranx) indicate that the upcoming 1.03 patch for GT6 will bring in the long awaited community features.

To quote the official Gran Turismo 6 site,

Community

Players can create their own clubs, communicate with one another in the forums and organise race events for their members. It is possible to select from a private racing club, and a public racing club that is open to everyone.

GT Arena, an unofficial Gran Tuismo websita also speculates that the new patch is also likely to include the newt Quick Match function.

Quick Match

This mode is for those who want to get in and race online right away. Matching is performed according to preset regulations, and the race will start when there are enough participants.

It is yet unknown whether we can expect B-Spec, the Course Creator, or any other long awaited features in 1.03 is yet unknown.
